GRAND RAPIDS, Mi. (December 16, 2020)--idX Corporation announces the retirement of Scott Norvell, Executive Vice President of Global Operations, effective January 1, 2021.

Mr. Norvell, a 40-year veteran of the retail store merchandising industry, is a founding member of idX Corporation. Scott has specialized in large, complicated rollouts and designed some of the industry's fundamental processes for program management, production control, and operations management. Mr. Norvell has overseen some of idX's largest project initiatives and can be credited with much of the organization's success and high-regard from clients.

"As idX's operational leader, Scott ensured that basic fundamentals were followed by development, design, engineering, project management, and production teams on all global programs. This has led to thousands of successful large-scale program deployments and very happy, loyal customers," said Vice President of Commercial for UFP Industries, Scott Stewart. "Scott will be missed in 2021 and beyond, but his legacy will continue to positively impact our customers on a daily basis."

Scott's most recent contribution to idX is the consolidation of project management processes across all idX facilities, guaranteeing uniformity in how programs are managed, regardless of location.

"Being with a company for this long truly gets into your blood. These years have been the best of my life and it's the idX teams that has made it so," said Norvell. "I confidently leave idX in this team's supremely capable hands."

Headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI with more than 20 offices worldwide, idX is one the largest retail environment manufacturers in the industry.
